Yossi Cohen - Founder & Head of R&D
In addition to heading DSP-IP's versatile R&D Department, Yossi Cohen heads the Company's much sought-after consultancy services. He consults to Israel's foremost Internet start-ups like Jajah and Metacafe as well as to established high-tech companies such as Intel, ECI and NDS. Mr. Cohen is an expert in the use of video and VoIP for the Internet and in social networks. He is a prominent lecturer on video, VoIP, IPTV, Web 2.0 at highly respected professional academies and colleges such as Logtel, NGN Academy, NetBryce and the Hi-Tech College.
Prior to founding DSP-IP in 2004, Mr. Cohen gained vital industry experience performing all facets of software management at a number of well-respected video media companies. Fulfilling his military service as a software and hardware developer in the Israel Air Force, Mr. Cohen managed numerous development projects for which he received an Award of Excellence.
Mr. Cohen earned a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering and an MBA in Hi-Tech Management from the Technion Institute of Technology.
Michal Porat - General Manager
Michal Porat manages DSP-IP's outsourcing projects serving as the vital link between the Company'sprominent technology customers and its talented pool of specialized engineers. Ms. Porat not only defines each project's dynamic requirements, but she also oversees its progress through to its successful completion.
Prior to joining DSP-IP, Ms. Porat served as a senior Account Manager for a major high-tech placement firm. Cited twice for excellence by the Israel Defense Forces, she served as an HR commander. Ms. Porat earned a BTech in Industrial Management and Engineering, graduating with Honors from the Academic College of Judea and Samaria.
Maya Rafalovitz - Recruitment Manager
Maya Rafalovitz manages all phases of the company's extensive recruitment process. Ms. Rafalovitz joined DSP-IP with broad experience in HR recruitment which she acquired while previously serving as the Recruitment Manager for the IT and system engineering consulting firm Omnisys, and at a major high-tech placement firm.
After her honorable discharge from the Israel Air Force, Ms. Rafalovitz graduated from Tel Aviv University with a B.A. in sociology and anthropology. She subsequently earned her M.A. in Human Resources Management and Employment Relations from the University of Hertfordshire in England.
